Cycling

Hey there,

I know I haven't posted in a week.  I have been busy riding my new bike and spending time at the beach.

The bike riding has been fun.  It is hard work but rewarding.  Feeling the wind in my face gives me a sense of freedom.  And as my mind drifts while I am pedaling I think of all the cute cycling kits (outfits) I should invest in!

Did anybody notice my awesome shoes?!?

As far as the beach was concerned, I spent a few days on Fire Island.  I grew up spending my summers over there so it feels like childhood to me.  We rented a house in Ocean Beach and had days of sun, evenings of super moons and yummy food.

One of the days, while taking a walk we noticed two asian girls.  Actually everybody noticed them because on of them was wearing a thong.  Just dental floss in a T shape on her behind.  She pranced up the beach to the water's edge and splashed herself with the ocean water.  She didn't go in and barely got wet, but acted out an opening porn scene splashing the water on herself, bending over and gaining the attention of every single guy on the beach (and most of the women too!)  I guess you can say that Asian Women even wear bating suits better!!!

I promise to post more this week.  Please don't forget to email us your info.  I would love to get an apple picking trip together for the fall.

TGIF

Finally Friday!  That is what I said to myself when I woke up yesterday.  My new bicycle needed the pedals put on and the back wheel trued.  Besides that, a bike ride and an evening of fun was all I had on tap...but then the emails started.  Sometimes business gets in the way of pleasure.  Finally around noon, we were able to take my new bike to the shop.  We went to Robert's on Francis Lewis Blvd in Flushing.  They were awesome, two other shops had said I would need to leave my bike overnight, but Robert's promised it would be finished in an hour.  While we waited we went to Utopia Bagels, they definitely make good sandwiches.  Then back to pick up my new baby!  On the way out Jimmy met some new friends.  Didn't get a photo of them, but here is Jimmy.  (They suggested I include her on the blog)

Jimmy - aka "Butterball"

With my new bicycle, I had to learn how to use clipless pedals.  Harder than it looks!  Took one turn around the block practicing clipping in, braking and clipping out.  On the second time around somebody should have yelled "Timber" because over I went.  Now I felt like a true cyclist with road rash on my hand, elbow and knee.  I knew I was ready for the big time so we went over to the Cross Island Parkway Trail and rode 13 miles!  Not bad for my first time out and not a single fall!  Don't worry, I will eventually get a photo of the bike (carbon fiber frame) and my cute cycling outfit!

After getting cleaned up we went back to Brooklyn, had a couple of drinks and headed out to Ktown. The weather was perfect and the atmosphere jovial.  Ktown on a weekend evening has some of the best outfits and prettiest girls, and they were out in full force.  It was a great opportunity for the blog!

Look at these girls, all smiles!  Gorgeous!

Awesome leather skirt, pairs great with a Chanel bag!

After some drinks and snapping some photos, we decided to go back to Brooklyn.  While waiting for the train we met a violinist waiting for her train.

You may have to practice, practice, practice to get to Carnegie Hall, but she doesn't have to practice to get her outfit on point!
