TGIF

Finally Friday!  That is what I said to myself when I woke up yesterday.  My new bicycle needed the pedals put on and the back wheel trued.  Besides that, a bike ride and an evening of fun was all I had on tap...but then the emails started.  Sometimes business gets in the way of pleasure.  Finally around noon, we were able to take my new bike to the shop.  We went to Robert's on Francis Lewis Blvd in Flushing.  They were awesome, two other shops had said I would need to leave my bike overnight, but Robert's promised it would be finished in an hour.  While we waited we went to Utopia Bagels, they definitely make good sandwiches.  Then back to pick up my new baby!  On the way out Jimmy met some new friends.  Didn't get a photo of them, but here is Jimmy.  (They suggested I include her on the blog)

Jimmy - aka "Butterball"

With my new bicycle, I had to learn how to use clipless pedals.  Harder than it looks!  Took one turn around the block practicing clipping in, braking and clipping out.  On the second time around somebody should have yelled "Timber" because over I went.  Now I felt like a true cyclist with road rash on my hand, elbow and knee.  I knew I was ready for the big time so we went over to the Cross Island Parkway Trail and rode 13 miles!  Not bad for my first time out and not a single fall!  Don't worry, I will eventually get a photo of the bike (carbon fiber frame) and my cute cycling outfit!

After getting cleaned up we went back to Brooklyn, had a couple of drinks and headed out to Ktown. The weather was perfect and the atmosphere jovial.  Ktown on a weekend evening has some of the best outfits and prettiest girls, and they were out in full force.  It was a great opportunity for the blog!

Look at these girls, all smiles!  Gorgeous!

Awesome leather skirt, pairs great with a Chanel bag!

After some drinks and snapping some photos, we decided to go back to Brooklyn.  While waiting for the train we met a violinist waiting for her train.

You may have to practice, practice, practice to get to Carnegie Hall, but she doesn't have to practice to get her outfit on point!
